About Kayla Saldana
Kayla Saldana, PA-C, is a dedicated and board-certified physician assistant who brings her passion for dermatologic care to Thomas Dermatology’s Centennial Hills location. With a strong foundation in both general and surgical dermatology, Kayla is committed to providing personalized, compassionate, and thorough care to each of her patients.
Growing up in Portland, Oregon, Kayla’s journey in healthcare began with a bachelor’s degree in Human Physiology from The University of Oregon. After working as a dermatology medical assistant for three years, Kayla decided to pursue her love for medicine further, earning her master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Touro University Nevada. She has received licensure from the Nevada State Board of Medical Examiners and certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She has gained exemplary knowledge working under Keren Weltman, MD, FAAD, at Thomas Dermatology, delivering exceptional service to her patients.
Beyond her clinical expertise, Kayla’s compassionate and personable demeanor helps her patients feel at ease and confident in their care. Whether addressing general skin concerns or performing surgical procedures, Kayla is dedicated to providing high-quality care with careful attention to detail, ensuring her patients receive the best possible outcomes through both proficiency and thoughtful, patient-centered care.
In her free time, Kayla enjoys hiking, snowboarding, traveling, and binge-watching reality TV with her husband and dog, Winnie.
