Louisa Liu, MD, is a board-eligible dermatologist dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care for patients of all ages. She specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of skin conditions, with clinical interests in pediatric, medical, and surgical dermatology. Dr. Liu is committed to providing personalized, patient-centered care and helping patients achieve healthy skin throughout every stage of life.

 

Originally from Hunan Province, China, Dr. Liu moved to Beaumont, Texas, with her family at the age of 11. She earned her undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering before receiving her medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine, where she was elected to the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She completed her transitional year at MountainView Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada, followed by her dermatology residency at Loma Linda University, where she served as Chief Resident.

 

Dr. Liu is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and is committed to providing the highest quality care by incorporating the latest evidence-based advances into her practice.

 

Outside of medicine, Dr. Liu enjoys spending time with her husband and young son, traveling, and exploring new restaurants. She looks forward to caring for patients and their families at Thomas Dermatology at our Henderson office location.
