4/2/24 I am sure that PA-C Bree Simon is all aware that my appt @8:30am with her was cancelled due to the Billing Dept refused for me to be seen her if I don’t pay $120.00 for my visit that day. Which I was not aware of it. Since I had previously spoken to the billing Dept.. I can only pay $50.00 month which I religiously paying at the HD Office. I feel humiliated that morning. All they care about is getting the money instead of treating and caring for the patient. I was even looking forward to be seen that day since I started self administering this new drug she had introduced me to take every 2 weeks which had no changes on my condition or even worse. So I don’t know if I am allergic to it or what and It has been a battle for me with allergies and eczema both. I am very sadly disappointed.

The ladies at the front desk were very nice and welcoming. Dr Simon met with me and took her time answering all of my many questions. She was very knowledgeable and comforting. The procedures she did were very well thought out and talked about. She took any worries away that I had and the results were amazing. I never once felt like a “patient” with a number. I need a doctor that listens and records tge fact that I am a sibo patient that can't take antibiotics and steroids. I just paid for the cream the PA prescribed and it has many side effects including nausea and fatigue. I already have that from sibo and I don't need any more. I was very clear about not taking drugs and roids. It's not that I don't want to, I can't that garbage makes my situation far worse. I have to have alternatives. I don't need more side effects that worsen my symptoms and leave me useless and sick.

I could not get an appointment until the end of next month. I would have to wait 5 weeks. I had just seen my dermatologist for a routine 6 month check. A new spot on my nose had developed, recently, so I was given ointment to dry it up. No big deal. After another 9 days it had grown, turned red, and was very sore. I had cancer removed from this same spot 9 years ago. I wanted to have it looked at and I called, but was told no appointments were available for 7 weeks. My next call was directly to her personal scheduler who asked me to text pictures. I did, and explained about my previous cancer on the same spot. The best they could do was 5 weeks. I called another Dermatologist office and was in the next day, AND had a biopsy taken to be sent to the lab. Would anyone go back to Thomas Dermatology again?

The employees at the front desk, both checkin and out, could be more friendly and upbeat. I bought prescription creams and no one offered me the directions for them nor did anyone explain to me what to expect or how to use them. The checkout girl begrudgingly looked it up on her computer and read it to me. The whole visit seemed aliitle too rushed. Dr Lieberman is knowledgeable and professional. If everyone in that office would just show more interest in making the patients experience a happier one, show us they care and that we are not just a body being rushed thru the turnstile, this would have been a good doctor's visit.

I have been seeing Jordan Spoon for about 6-7 years. She is great. Listens, helpful, informed and I trust her. She made a diagnosis of basal cell carcinoma that led to intervention that was quite timely.

Prompt and courteous treatment for a very busy dermatology office. Vanessa Benes,PAC, is an extremely knowledgeable and empathetic practitioner! I'm glad she knew about and how to treat severe melasma. I appreciate that she could tell that what I had done on my own may not have been medical grade, but it definitely was an improvement from six months earlier and with less bacteria/infection. I'm glad my PCP referred me to Thomas Dermatology ! can't wait to see Benes, PAC again and the improvement from the compounded prescription. An excellent 1st visit.

I had not been to Thomas Derm in a couple of years for various reasons, but today was my first visit back and plus I have a new doctor named Dr. Gonzalez! This was the first time I didn't have to sit for at least 30 mins in the waiting room so I was impressed. His nurse came right out at the exact time and got me, and he came in the room within 10 mins after she assessed me or what have you. Doc made my day today, I was at my lowest time emotionally and he just made my day with the way he presented this fun and out-going personality in which I'm usually that way. He was so fun I purchased the VI Peel lol!. I will let you all know how that goes next week, or it will be posted on their instagram page in the future! Very cool doctor and I will most definitely recommend him to anyone.
