Matthew Hand, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist trained in Mohs micrographic surgery, facial plastic surgery, and cosmetic dermatology. He sees patients at Thomas Dermatology’s Centennial Hills and Post Road office in Las Vegas, and Henderson, Nevada.
He completed his medical education at the University of Washington, dermatologic training at the University of Utah, and Mohs and facial plastic surgical training with Dr. Chesnut in Spokane, Washington.
Dr. Hand is a member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and has served as the associate director of the cosmetic surgical fellowship at Clinic 5C. He was an inaugural member of Harvard’s Advancing Innovation in Dermatology work group and is a regularly invited lecturer on facial cosmetic surgery and regenerative medicine.
A citizen of the world, Dr. Hand has lived in Scotland, Dubai, New Zealand, Alaska, and Canada. He enjoys getting to know his patients and delights in hearing their stories and adventures. Dr. Hand loves that his job allows him to help patients feel more confident in their appearance, cure cancer, come up with innovative treatments, and demonstrate the artistry and creativity of reconstructive surgery.
Outside of work Dr. Hand enjoys spending time in nature with his wife, daughter, and golden retriever, as well as skiing, surfing, camping, and traveling.
