Yssra Soliman MD, FAAD is board-certified dermatologist who practices general, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. With a patient-centric and holistic approach, Dr. Soliman cares for adult and pediatric patients at Thomas Dermatology's Centennial Hills and Post Road offices in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Dr. Soliman is originally from Pennsylvania. Her academic journey reflects her dedication to excellence. She completed her undergraduate degree in biology and psychology with a minor in chemistry at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, graduating magna cum laude. She then earned her medical degree at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City and was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha and Gold Humanism societies. During medical school, she completed an intensive clinical and research fellowship in Hidradenitis Suppurativa. She then went on to complete an internal medicine internship at Harvard’s Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. Later, she returned to New York City to complete her advanced dermatology training at Columbia University Medical Center.
Dr. Soliman is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and the Women’s Dermatologic Society. Dr. Soliman’s interests include acne, hair loss, skin cancer, skin of color, cosmetics and surgical excision of benign and malignant lesions. She has authored numerous peer-reviewed journal articles and has presented at national and international conferences.
She is committed to delivering evidence-based, individualized and compassionate care to her patients. Beyond her medical pursuits, Dr. Soliman is passionate about wellness, reading, traveling and spending quality time with her husband and family.
